About the Role

As an Angiography Technologist, you will apply your skills in medical imaging to provide exceptional patient care, helping to identify and improve the health of community members. This role involves working in a brand new Cath Lab designed to optimally serve patients and employees. The EP x-ray technologist will assist in both x-ray and procedural scrub roles during EP cases, performing fluoroscopy and acquisition, and operating various consoles used in EP procedures such as ablations and device implants.

This position offers opportunities for growth within the EP scope and other Catheterization Laboratory service lines. We seek a motivated, caring, and curious individual to join our team in an environment equipped with new technology and an ideal layout, supporting high standards in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging procedures according to physician’s orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment.
  • Provide the highest quality care using advanced technologies for diagnosis and treatment in Cardiovascular and Hybrid labs.
  • Assist in x-ray and procedural scrub roles during EP cases, including fluoroscopy and acquisition.
  • Operate various consoles used in EP procedures (ablations and device implants).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Cath Lab x-ray table equipment and knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of a certified Radiologic Technology school or program.

Experience and Licensure by Level:

  • Level I: One year of previous experience in Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization preferred. ACLS required within six months of hire.
  • Level II: 1 year of previous experience in Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization, ACLS, BLS, applicable state LRT, and ARRT-R required.
  • Level III: 2 years of previous experience in Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization required. Current applicable state LRT, ARRT-R, ACLS, and BLS required. RCIS, CI, or VI preferred.
  • Level IV: 3 years of previous experience in Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization required. Current applicable state LRT, ARRT-R, ACLS, and BLS required. RCIS, CI, or VI required.

Licensure: Current applicable state licensure for Radiological Technologist (LRT) and national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) required. BLS required for all levels. ACLS required for Levels II, III, and IV.

Pay

  • Tech Level I: $48.69 - $69.65 per hour
  • Tech Level II: $51.13 - $73.12 per hour
  • Tech Level III: $53.68 - $76.77 per hour
  • Tech Level IV: $56.37 - $80.61 per hour

Additional compensation includes:

  • Shift Differential: evening - $2.50/hr, night - $4.30/hr, weekend - $3.00/hr
  • Standby Pay: $15/hr
  • Relocation assistance available for those moving from outside the area
