Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures
• Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it
• Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures
• Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of a RCIS program Required or
• Graduate from a nursing program Required or
• Graduate of respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license — Upon Hire Required or
• If a graduate of RCIS program, RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
