HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join a safety-conscious team. This role involves safe and successful job execution across all service lines while representing the company in client relationships. Transitioning military personnel are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Act as safety representative, ensuring compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures, including operations, emergency response, and administrative functions.
- Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment, Ultra High-Pressure pumps, and other specialized cleaning equipment.
- Energize and operate pumping equipment, vacuum trucks, cutting equipment, and chemical cleaning tools.
- Inspect cleaned surfaces to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment in the field.
- Handle duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders.
- Direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
- Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, driver’s logs, and comply with vehicle policy and DOT requirements.
- Load and unload hoses and unload vacuum trucks at dump sites.
- Provide general field maintenance and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and relevant experience.
- English proficiency to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL Class A or B required for driving company vehicles or using personal vehicles for company business.
- Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, such as fire extinguishers.
- Experience operating vacuum trucks and equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
- Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
