Environmental Summer Field Intern

About the Role

Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) is a people-focused, award-winning, full-service consulting firm offering civil and geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, planning, landscape architecture, agriculture, surveying, and construction support. This Field Intern position is based in the Waynesburg, PA office and supports summer projects with a focus on outdoor fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Field data collection and processing.
• Quality control and organization of collected data.
• Significant outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Weekend and occasional holiday work based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, or a related field.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Clean driving record required.

Skills

Experience with the following is preferred but not required:

• Data collection.
• Fieldwork.
• GPS units.
• Aquatic sampling procedures.
