Brief Description

SABG is hiring a Security Analyst (SME) to support the SEW II contract with the HQ Combat Forces Command (CFC).

CLEARANCE

An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

LOCATION

Colorado Springs, Colorado

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, review, and update Special Access Programs (SAP) Security Classification Guides (SCGs) for current and future mission systems using AFOSI/PSO SCG templates.
  • Review, analyze, and recommend updates to SCGs based on current threats and approved Critical Program Information (CPI).
  • Produce recommendation reports.
  • Provide comments and recommendations on security classification concerns affecting SAP mission areas and Programs of Record (PoR).
  • Develop and track establishment, transition, and termination actions for SAPs and Prospective SAP elements.
  • Execute SAP lifecycle processes in accordance with AFI 16-701 and DoDI 5205.11.
  • Recommend SCG changes and coordinate classification issues with the customer and HQ CFC/S8Z.
  • Apply Space Electromatic Warfare and Orbital Warfare operational expertise to inform SAP security decisions and classification guidance.
  • Assess threat impacts on SAP systems and recommend classification or protection adjustments.
  • Provide PPBE expertise to ensure SAP security considerations are integrated into planning and programming.

SUPERVISION

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Science or related discipline is recommended.
  • 10+ years Security experience including 6+ years with any military HQ Staff operating in support of current/future EW mission areas.
  • Experience working in classified (SAP/SAR) space environment.
  • Experience operating or supporting electromagnetic warfare and/or orbital warfare systems across military, civil, commercial, or academic sectors.
  • Background in PPBE and operational planning, including development and coordination of tasking orders, CONOPS, SPINS, deployment orders, and EXORDs.
  • Experience advising or supporting acquisition and integration of future EW/OW weapon systems, including upgrades and next-generation capabilities.
  • Experience with Joint operations planning and developing/coordinating tasking orders, concept of operations, special instructions, deployment orders, execution orders, etc.
  • Capable of providing technical and management leadership on major tasks, establishing goals and developing plans that meet project objectives.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with senior leaders, handle client negotiations, and manage activates to ensure technical requirements are met.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Familiarity with government electronic staffing and task management systems (such as the Task Management Tool (TMT)).
  • Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in operating secure and unsecure Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and virtual meeting software (such as MS Teams).
