Environmental Services Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, polishing, and disinfecting fixtures, floors, and surfaces
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, shampooers, and related tools
• Clean high areas like vents, fan fixtures, and top of windows using ladders
• Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials
• Move furniture and heavy objects as needed
• Conduct terminal cleaning of patient rooms, following isolation procedures when required
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in a healthcare environment, ensure safety and infection control protocols, and contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming space for patients and staff

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physically active tasks
• Previous environmental services experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic and effective communication skills
