Environmental Services Technician - Saint Marys Campus - Part Time

About the role

Environmental Services’ mission is to maintain a clean, safe, reliable, and aesthetically pleasing environment throughout Mayo Clinic. Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, laboratories, offices, restrooms, corridors, floors, and other areas as assigned.
• Replenishing supplies, removing waste, and supporting sustainability efforts by transporting recyclables to identified pick up points.
• Collaborating with others, using organizational and time management skills, and communicating effectively.
• Following standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
• Using industry-leading technology and equipment to ensure safety and infection control.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
• Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Customer service experience and skills are highly valued.
• Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow.

Shifts

• Day Shifts: The day shift EVS tech positions include 8-hour shifts with various start times between 6am and 10am.
• Evening Shifts: The evening shift EVS Tech positions include 8-hour shifts with various start times between 3pm and 8pm.
• Shift preference will be discussed during interview.
