Environmental Services Technician, PRN

About the Role

The Environmental Services Technician performs a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in accordance with healthcare facility standards.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory requirements.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks.
• Interact with the public and provide customer service.
• Perform manual tasks including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospital environmental services experience preferred.
• Experience following written and verbal instructions.
• Experience performing manual tasks.
• Customer service experience.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds.
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
