ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN I - FULLTIME - DAYS

Responsibilities

• Aids in maintaining a high-quality standard of housekeeping.
• Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas while following assigned schedules and specific methods.
• Provides a sanitary, orderly, and safe patient care environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Aid in prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria, odor, and sustaining acceptable aseptic conditions.
• May assist with furniture moves, recycling, curtain replacement, delivery of supplies, and the removal of trash and biohazard waste.

Linen Care

• Managing, sorting, cleaning, and distributing clean linens throughout the hospital.
• Collecting solid linens.
• Inventory management by keeping records of linen levels.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in healthcare, school, or hospitality setting.
• Experience operating floor equipment, sweepers, and other EVS equipment.

Credentials

• Education Requirement: High school or equivalent preferred.
• Pay Range: USD $16.50/Hr. to USD $25.58/Hr.
