Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech)

About the role

The Environmental Service Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within Huntington Beach Hospital and its adjacent facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings.
• Travel between facilities without assistance to ensure thorough cleaning.
• Respond to and initiate communication via phone, handheld radios, and pagers.

Requirements

• One (1) year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures preferred.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Education and work experience as outlined above.
• Ability to perform tasks independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including lifting and moving equipment and supplies.

Pay

Competitive compensation with a reasonable estimate for this role being $26.10 to $26.10 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection.
