Environmental Services Technician (EVS) / Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate commitment to customer service excellence in all interactions with patients, family members, visitors, and other staff members.
• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Ensure the overall condition of the hospital, including sanitation, order, and appearance.
• Perform light manual work, ensuring routine housekeeping tasks are completed according to established schedules and procedures.
• Clean assigned areas by washing furnishings, floors, and equipment with special cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent disease spread.
• Dust window sills, blinds, floors, and furniture using dust cloths and vacuum cleaners; empty ashtrays and trash buckets; arrange furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
• Make beds with clean linen in a prescribed manner; scour and polish sinks, tubs, mirrors, and similar equipment; replenish supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items.

Schedule

Full-time Afternoons/Evenings - 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Pay

$16.41 to $20.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Required: Previous Housekeeping experience.
• Preferred:
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Previous hospital EVS experience.
