Environmental Services Technician (EVS)
Location: Chester, NJ
Schedule
7AM - 3PM Full-Time (includes weekday & weekend shifts)
Pay
$19.30 - $24.47 per hour (based on experience) + shift differential

As an Environmental Service Technician (EVS) / Housekeeping, you will help provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere in our hospitals. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery and visitor satisfaction by keeping the halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms clean.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the quality and appearance of the physical plant by reporting repair issues and needs on a daily basis or as needed.
- Keep floors clean and safe by dust mopping and wet mopping as necessary.
- Clean and polish all metal trim, furnishings, and/or equipment as necessary, as well as wash walls, windows, and beds as assigned.
- Strip, wax, and buff floors as assigned using safety precautions to properly carry out the procedures.
- Assist in moving furniture as requested.
- Replenish supplies, including soap, towels, and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous Hospital EVS experience (preferred).
