Environmental Services Technician

Full-time night shift position at Mercy - Fort Smith.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in accordance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned duties.
• Engage with patients, visitors, and staff in a customer service capacity.
• Perform manual tasks including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Maintain prolonged standing and walking throughout each shift.
• Use physical movements such as gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to perform duties.

• None required for minimum qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior hospital environmental services experience (preferred).
• Experience following written and verbal instructions (preferred).
• Previous experience performing manual tasks (preferred).
• Prior customer service experience (preferred).
