About the Role
The Advanced Environmental Services Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards within a hospital environment. This position requires advanced knowledge and skills in environmental services, with a focus on maintaining a hygienic and sterile environment to support patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards in a hospital environment.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to perform manual tasks.
- Interact with the public and provide customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior hospital environmental service experience.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
