Environmental Services Technician

About the role

At HCA Healthcare’s Menorah Medical Center, the Environmental Services Technician plays a vital role in infection prevention and patient safety. Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation duties in patient rooms and throughout the facility to maintain a clean, inviting environment
• Support infection prevention efforts through thorough and consistent cleaning protocols
• Work as part of a team in a variable-paced, low-pressure atmosphere
• Operate autonomously on a variety of tasks as assigned
• Move, lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed

Requirements

• No prior experience required; preference given to those with environmental cleaning experience, especially in healthcare
• Ability to use all job-specific equipment required for cleaning and facility maintenance
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
