Environmental Services Technician

About the role

The Environmental Services Technician performs routine tasks to maintain the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of healthcare facilities, ensuring a clean and infection-free environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing
• Empty and decontaminate trash containers
• Move, rearrange, and dust furniture and fixtures
• Mix or blend routine cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as necessary for various tasks
• Wash blinds, windows, and walls with prescribed solutions
• Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions
• Complete varied custodial tasks necessary for building upkeep
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required
• Previous experience in institutional cleaning, preferred
