Role Overview This position involves performing general housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment within a healthcare facility. The role is based in Chicago and requires compliance with safety and vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Mopping
• Dusting
• Vacuuming
• Carpet shampooing
• Cleaning fixtures
• Restocking supplies
• Floor stripping and waxing
• Waste removal
• Disinfecting various surfaces across patient rooms and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility
• Disinfect walls, ceilings, windows, and other surfaces
• Restock and organize supplies as needed
• Remove waste and ensure proper disposal procedures

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in Environmental Services or related cleaning roles preferred
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform basic math
• Familiarity with routine procedures and simple equipment operation, typically learned quickly on the job
• Covid vaccination required
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and staff
