Environmental Services Tech

About the role

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy and welcoming environment in patient and non‑patient areas to ensure that Ridgeview customers and families receive the highest quality of services in a caring and compassionate manner.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all patient and non‑patient areas to high standards of cleanliness.
• Follows all infection control policies and standards to minimize the transmission of microorganisms.
• Uses cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment properly for the safety of patients, EVS Tech, and staff.
• Promotes and maintains positive internal and external working relationships.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions.
• Ability to communicate in English for effective written and verbal correspondence.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform strenuous work under time constraints.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous healthcare, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience.
