About the role
The Environmental Services Team Member role performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Perform various cleaning tasks including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and replenished as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Relevant experience preferred.
- Must be separated from MaineHealth system for 6 months to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Good communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., using Microsoft Office).

Pay
$3,000.00 Sign on Bonus paid in 3 installments, prorated for Part Time.
