About the role

The Environmental Services Team Member role performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Perform various cleaning tasks including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and replenished as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Relevant experience preferred.
  • Must be separated from MaineHealth system for 6 months to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Good communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., using Microsoft Office).

Pay

$3,000.00 Sign on Bonus paid in 3 installments, prorated for Part Time.
