Environmental Services Representative - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Maintains general cleaning of the entire casino, front of house bar areas, and public spaces of the hotel (excluding kitchens).
• Cleans all offices and public restrooms.
• Transports all trash.
• Cleans up after all special events.
• Maintains front entry way and Porte Cochère.
• Reports any problems to EVS Supervisor.
• Adheres to all company, department policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
• Performs any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Prefer previous experience cleaning commercial property.

Skills

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance and smell.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy.

Pay

Starting from $11.00 per hour, based on experience.
