Environmental Services Manager
About the role
As the Environmental Services Manager, you will supervise all work activities of your department's personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions in the facility. You will make inspections of all assigned areas to ensure the highest standards of Quality Assurance Control are being met, train new and existing employees on new equipment, products, and cleaning methods, schedule Environmental Services personnel, and participate in interviewing prospective candidates and making hiring decisions while focusing on maintaining a positive culture.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all work activities of Environmental Services personnel
- Ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions in the facility
- Conduct inspections to maintain high Quality Assurance Control standards
- Train new and existing employees on equipment, products, and cleaning methods
- Schedule Environmental Services personnel
- Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions
- Maintain a positive department culture
Requirements
- High School Degree or GED equivalent
- Two (2) years of work experience or equivalent required
Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience preferred
- Experience in a health care or hospital environment is strongly preferred
