Environmental Services Manager

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for an Environmental Services Manager position at a hospital in Manchester, NH. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for this role.

About the role

The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager oversees overall cleanliness, patient room cleaning, managing throughput, floor care, and waste removal while ensuring all health and safety standards are met. This position leads the operations of facility accounts to meet objectives and client expectations, and oversees 2nd Shift EVS Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department (Housekeeping).
• Oversees linen distribution, supply distribution, shift huddles, scheduling, and training.
• Monitors performance and manages floor care, trash removal, biohazardous waste removal, and overall building cleanliness.
• Conducts patient rounding, service recovery, quality audits, and inspections.
• Communicates and builds relationships with other department leaders.
• Plans, controls, and directs all cleaning, sanitizing, and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.
• May require adapting to changing job duties or new assignments to meet commitments.

Requirements

• Healthcare environmental services management experience preferred.
• Up to 2–5 years in a supervisory role or 1+ years in a management role.
• Floor care experience required, including knowledge of equipment and chemicals used.
• Experience managing janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping operations will be considered.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under strict deadlines.
