Environmental Services - Housekeeper
Part-time position working 42 hours per pay period; shift times include 8:30am-4:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. No weekends or holidays.
About the role
Join our team at The Willows in La Crosse! This position involves performing a wide variety of tasks in our Housekeeping department to keep our building clean, sanitary, and in excellent condition. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, collecting laundry, and distributing general linens and personal clothing. This role also includes annual floor maintenance such as carpet extraction and removing and reapplying hardwood coatings.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms and common areas
- Collect laundry and distribute linens and personal clothing
- Perform annual floor maintenance, including carpet extraction and hardwood coating removal/reapplication
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high standard of quality and cleanliness
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
Experience with cleaning or laundry is helpful but not required.
Pay
Starting rate is between $16.50 and $17.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Wages are reviewed at six months for high performance.
