Environmental Services EVS Worker Lead - BSWH Temple 3rd Shift

About the Role

The Environmental Services Worker Lead provides work leadership to hourly employees in completion of their job duties in Aramark Facility Services areas of responsibility during events. This role also involves hands-on work, ensuring efficient and high-quality cleaning services while maintaining compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists management and supervisors at the beginning and end of shifts with sign-in, supplies, and equipment sign-out/sign-in.
• Supports shift operations in the preparation and delivery of supplies to meet employees' needs.
• Performs overall assessments of public restrooms and on-call rooms as needed.
• Adheres to departmental sanitation procedures and reports all employee issues (safety, injuries, disciplinary).
• Supervises staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services.
• Formulates action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies.
• Assists in employee training, coaching, and motivation.
• Maintains accurate record-keeping systems for quality control.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, Aramark standards, and client contracts.
• Maintains records and reports necessary for compliance with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in environmental services.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to apply elementary math functions.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions.
• Ability to work independently after appropriate training.
• Maintains a friendly and efficient service attitude towards customers, co-workers, and clients.
