Environmental Services Equipment Cleaning Tech

Main Function

Performs a variety of tasks including operating the UV disinfection machine in all areas to maintain a sanitary, pleasant, and safe environment for patients, residents, visitors, and associates.

Job Specific Competencies

• Demonstrates skill in cleaning/disinfecting medical equipment used for patient care and treatment.
• Is knowledgeable of procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, infection control, Disinfection and safety.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Organizes cleaning duties and prioritizes work to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
• Maintains collaborative working relationships with nursing and other departments.
• Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system.

Schedule

Per diem (scheduled as needed), days/evenings, weekend availability.

Education And Experience Required

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 5 years previous work experience
• Previous computer experience

Pay Range

Starting Pay: Based on experience

Pay Range: $18.25 - $20.00
