About the role
The EVS Coordinator will help maintain a clean and safe environment for Glenaire residents.
Responsibilities
- Enter, assign, and close work orders.
- Print preventative maintenance work orders.
- Receive and return phone calls for the department.
- Order and pick up supplies and maintain supply levels.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and learn other applications as required.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Coordinate installation of new equipment and machinery.
- Follow-up on routine preventative maintenance checks monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annually as needed.
- Process payroll and check employee hours on a regular basis.
- Communicate information to the community through the resident portal.
- Manage the department in the absence of the manager/director.
Qualifications
- Able to speak and understand English. Spanish speaking a plus.
- A high school diploma required.
- Two years experience in a supervisory role with a healthcare/hospitality organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with residents and staff.
- May require to work other shifts or perform other duties as needed.
- May be called in evenings, holidays, and weekends to perform job-related duties, or may be on call as needed.
- Numerical ability to compute arithmetic calculations to estimate materials.
- Maintain good organizational skills including filing, etc.
