Environmental Services Associate

This position is located at 300 First Avenue and requires onsite work.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in alignment with the organization and according to pre‑established schedules and infection control guidelines.
- Complete waste stream removal.
- According to established procedures clean and service assigned areas.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around the Medical Center departments, and perform a variety of cleaning duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
- Operate assigned equipment (floor machines, buffers).
- Participate in a minimum of eight unit/department meetings annually.
- Maintain assigned patient and non‑patient areas in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Experience in lieu of a degree is not accepted.
- 0‑1 year of related experience preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to apply chemicals safely.
- Working knowledge of various cleaning tools like vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.

Pay
Pay Range: $17.71 – $22.15 per hour (Hourly Grade 1).
