Environmental Services Aide (Housekeeping) - Part Time - Day
About the role

This position is key to fostering a safe and welcoming space for both patients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and other areas of the facility in a timely manner.
- Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas.
- Sweep and mop patient rooms and other designated spaces.
- Maintain adequate stock of materials, supplies, and chemicals on cleaning carts and in janitor’s closets.
- Consistently perform daily floor care procedures.
- Ensure equipment (carts, tanks, buckets) is kept clean, polished, and properly maintained; empty and rinse at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
- Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications
- Previous Environmental Services or Housekeeping experience (preferred).
- High School diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), and/or equivalent programs (preferred).
Pay
The starting hourly rate for this role is $17.55. The final base compensation may vary based on factors such as labor market data, relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget considerations. Full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) positions may also be eligible for shift differentials, performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
