Environmental Services Aide(Floor Technician) Full-Time- Varied shifts $17.01-$21.70 (Diff $3.00-$5.00)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Services Aide to join our team. The primary responsibilities include floor technician duties such as striping and waxing floors, cleaning carpets, and general floor maintenance. The role may also involve a variety of assignments based on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services rooms, baths, and other assigned areas.
• Cleans, mops, and waxes floors, dusts furniture and equipment.
• Affords assistance with laundry pick-up, sorting, folding, and delivery.
• Affords assistance in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request.
• Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and has repairs made when needed.
• Gathers and disposes of refuse.
• Transports hospital equipment as assigned.
• Maintains an effective working relationship with Administration, Directors, physicians and their office staff, hospital staff, and vendors to ensure goals are optimized and that good working relationships are cultivated and retained.

Requirements

• A high school diploma is preferred.
• Ability to receive and understand verbal and written communications.
• A high degree of attention to detail when completing assignments.
• Ability to engage with and work with other personnel and teams.

Pay

The pay range is $17.01-$21.702 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Shift differentials apply: Weekday Nights - $3.00 per hour, Weekend Days - $3.50 per hour, Weekend Nights - $5.00 per hour.
