Environmental Services Aide - Evening Shift (East Hampton Location)
Position Summary
General environmental duties, wall washing, bed and room cleaning, discharge cleaning, trash removal.
Job Duties & Essential Functions
- Work in the OR and perform all duties associated with the operating room assignment.
- Work with minimal supervision and prioritize responsibilities.
- Achieve excellent customer service skills.
- Work in a team environment.
- Perform duties as assigned by management.
Required Experience And Qualifications
- Ability to read and write simple English.
- Understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
- Speak, read and write English to comprehend in-services and department literature.
- Customer service oriented.
- Heavy physical effort – lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged, extensive & considerable standing/walking.
- Reach, stoop, bend, kneel.

Anticipated Pay Range
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established based on relevant experience.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance from Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Employee Health Services.
- Complete electronic reference check with a minimum of three (3) professional references.
- Successfully complete a 4 panel drug screen.
- Maintain meeting Regulatory Requirements for pre-employment screenings.
- Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s).
