Environmental Services Aide - Day/Evening

About the role

Part-time position with benefits, working 28 hours weekly every Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM plus an additional 20 hours weekly during the day or evenings. Occasional weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facilities to the highest quality standards in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agency guidelines.
• Performs daily cleaning functions with minimal supervision and instruction.
• May include handling, transportation, access to, and/or contact with medications and related supplies.
• May require additional work hours or shifts outside the normal schedule as needed.
• Requires working some holidays and rotating weekends.

Requirements

• Must possess reading and writing skills and comprehend and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Required: None
• Preferred: Previous environmental services work experience; experience with infection control procedures and universal precautions.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting: less than 20 lbs.; 20–50 lbs.; 50–100 lbs.; greater than 100 lbs.
• Activities: Prolonged standing, frequent bending, walking (distance), climbing (steps, ladder, other), reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive), repetitive motion.
• Mental/Sensory: Strong recall, hearing, speaking clearly, reading, logical thinking.
• Emotional: Fast-paced environment, steady pace, ability to handle multiple priorities, frequent and intense customer interactions, noisy environment, ability to adapt to frequent change.

Compensation

$15.30 – $22.95 per hour. Actual salary offers will be based on relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications.
