About the role

To provide an efficient and comprehensive housekeeping service to users while contributing to enhancement of patient care and the environment in accordance with the Joint Commission and New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and departmental policies.

Responsibilities

• To provide an efficient and comprehensive housekeeping service to users while contributing to enhancement of patient care and the environment in accordance with the Joint Commission and New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and departmental policies.
• The Housekeeping service plays a vital role and is included as part of the department team to ensure that a pleasant, safe, welcoming and clean environment is provided to patients, visitors and staff.
• Candidates must be available to work every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred; 6 months experience required.
• Experience: 6 months experience required or successful completion of the outlined criteria for ESW-2 position demonstrated to supervisor.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instruction.

Pay

Salary Range $19.24 - $24.37 an hour

Schedule

This position is 40 hours per week, Evenings, Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm.
