Environmental Service Worker (Evenings)

Responsibilities

• Dust furniture, woodwork and equipment in client waiting and reception areas.
• Wet mop hard surface floors as needed and vacuum carpets.
• Clean vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, doorframes, and other high areas using a ladder.
• Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials using specified bags and/or containers.
• Clean/disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, door handles and walls of bathrooms.

Requirements

• Lift, push and pull items up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Work in precarious or high locations (ladders, etc.).
• Reach, stoop, bend, kneel and crouch.
• Expose to housekeeping cleaning agents and/or chemicals.
• Exposure to noise.
• Exposure to blood and/or body fluids.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in institutional housekeeping.
