Responsibilities

Requirements
- Minimum Education: Grammar School or its equivalent.
- Ability to read and write English and understand oral instructions.
- Minimum Experience: One month of on-the-job training.
- Healthcare and hospital experience preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend infection control postings, hazardous chemical warnings, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Required Certification/Registration: Hospital Crisis Intervention training course within three (3) months of hire/transfer and annually thereafter.
Physical Requirements
- Works in a clean, well-lighted, heated, or ventilated facility with no routine exposure to hazards.
- Demonstrates full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks.
- Visual and aural acuity, finger and hand dexterity to operate equipment.
- Ability to withstand long periods of sitting, standing, and/or constant walking.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Mental Demands: Ability to foster collaborative relationships, work well under pressure, organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks. Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills, and flexibility. Ability to multi-task and maintain detailed attention in an environment with interruptions.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to customer needs and expectations.
- May be subject to irregular hours, including evenings or weekends, to participate in operational and community events.
- At times, may work within the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU).
Pay
The compensation range for this role is $22.72 - $23.41 hourly. The range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits. Several factors may be considered when determining compensation, including location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity.
