About the role

We are currently seeking a Full Time AND Part Time Environmental Services Technician (EST) at our store. This position involves keeping our stores clean through tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing. The Full Time EST works a set schedule of 4 ten-hour days in a row, while the Part Time EST works the remaining 3 days, each also ten hours.

Responsibilities

  • Everything possible to keep our stores clean – that means dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing.
  • Train to use buffers and floor scrubbers.
  • Handle trash and bathrooms as part of your duties.
  • Receive task outlines for all your responsibilities.
  • Comply with numerous ISO regulations, company, and state policies to ensure safety and security.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to push, pull, lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodations.
  • The ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to bend, reach, and grasp throughout the work day.
  • The ability to work in various conditions including heat, cold, and dust.
  • The ability to process donated items (loading and unloading) with or without accommodations.

Preferences

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodian experience.
