Environmental Service Tech
About the role
The Environmental Service Technician at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is responsible for executing daily duties to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. This includes completing assigned cleaning and disinfection tasks, following infection prevention practices, and ensuring timely room turnovers.
Responsibilities
- Completes daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and other common areas.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements.
- Follows all infection prevention practices, including proper cleaning and disinfection protocols, hand hygiene, standard and isolation precautions, and proper donning and doffing of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Pay
The posted compensation range is $18.36 - $18.36 /hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
