Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).
  • Develop and maintain an active, externally funded research program in an area of expertise.
  • Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Participate in departmental, college, and institute service activities.
  • Collaborate with other faculty and researchers within and outside the Institute.
  • Contribute to the development and assessment of academic programs.

Requirements

  • Earned Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field by the start date.
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Strong research record or potential, with evidence of ability to secure external funding.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.

Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: computer systems, cybersecurity, machine learning, robotics, signal processing, or VLSI design.
  • Prior teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
  • Postdoctoral research experience is desirable but not required.
  • Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
