Environmental/Safety/Sustainability Co-op/Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

This role offers a summer co-op/internship experience focusing on Environmental, Safety, and Sustainability fields.

Responsibilities

• Supporting safety compliance activities related to OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI standards.
• Conducting safety evaluations, hazard identification, and supporting safety audits and programs.
• Assisting with environmental compliance tasks such as air testing, hazardous waste management, and documentation updates.
• Contributing to sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction, lifecycle assessments, and research on green technologies.
• Supporting resource circularity efforts like recycling programs and sustainable materials management.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Enrollment in a relevant degree program (Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, etc.) with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Class standing of sophomore or higher.
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours/week.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Pay

Wage range of $23.35-$35.22 per hour, with paid overtime.
