About the role
A full-time, salaried role serving Trileaf’s Environmental Telecom team.
Responsibilities
- Hire (or assume supervision of), train, lead, and manage the activities of personnel in Chicago office.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients within the Chicago Area of Responsibility, generally including IL, IN, WI, MN, MI, IA, NE, ND and SD.
- Perform semi-annual performance and salary reviews of all direct reports.
- Provide weekly office status updates (including personnel, workload, and other relevant metrics).
- Supervise, review, and submit NEPA, Phase I, Phase II, and other technical reports as needed, ensuring all deliverables meet internal QA/QC standards and client expectations.
- Communicate scopes of work clearly and effectively, and guide clients through complex sites, offering alternatives to avoid potential barriers and ensure project efficiency.
- Manage client relationships, including distributing weekly project trackers, initiating new projects, handling purchase orders and requests, assigning tasks, and monitoring project progress.
- Support the development and expansion of client relationships within the designated Area of Responsibility.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience managing employees and clients is preferred.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Experience in the telecom industry (preferred but not required).
- Environmental Professional (EP) status in accordance with ASTM E1527 (preferred but not required).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or related field.
