About the role

Terracon is seeking a qualified Project Manager to grow and expand our asbestos and industrial hygiene practice based out of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Asbestos and Industrial Hygiene Group Manager to supervise our hazardous materials and industrial hygiene projects and ensure that work is performed timely and cost effectively while meeting our client’s requirements as well as company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Prepare proposals for hazardous materials and industrial hygiene investigations for asbestos, lead-containing paint, and other regulated hazardous substances.
• Career growth and development: Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, foster professional growth through mentoring, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate, organize, and secure the necessary resources to ensure successful completion of small to medium sized projects.
• Participate in business development activities with the office leadership team to identify, develop, and win new opportunities while building and maintaining existing client relationships.
• Contribute to achieving key group performance goals, including revenue growth, staff utilization, project billing and collections, and overall project profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a science or worker health and safety-related discipline such as Environmental Health, Chemistry, Industrial Safety or Industrial Hygiene.
• Minimum of five years hazardous materials/ industrial hygiene practice experience or equivalent.
• Current CDPHE certified asbestos credentials.

• Ability to establish effective working relationships with clients and team.
