Environmental Project Manager

Duties

• Managing scope, schedule, and budget for tasks including site investigations, tank closures, site remediation, well installation, well abandonment, and other field work
• Oversees staff working on projects to ensure work is done correctly and within budget
• Client and regulatory correspondence
• Technical report preparation and review
• Preparing cost estimates and proposals
• Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
• Coinciding work schedules with LaBella staff and subcontractors
• Coodinates with corporate and project-level safety and quality management staff to ensure all projects are conducted in accordance with applicable safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or closely related field
• Professional Engineer or Geologist License preferred
• MS Office suite experience
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience
• Proven Project Management skills
• Experience with Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and the NYSDEC Brownfield Cleanup Program
• Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage workload on multiple projects and deliver projects on time
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification and up to date annual refresher
