Environmental Project Manager
About the role
Cameron-Cole, an ADEC Innovation, is seeking a Level II or Level III Environmental Project Manager (Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist) to join our team. This role will manage assigned projects, supervise field activities, and prepare environmental reports and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Managing assigned projects, including budget tracking, invoice approval, and team management.
- Supervising the collection of samples for analysis while accurately following identified field sampling plans and Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures.
- Reviewing lab analytical reports for accuracy and adherence to QAQC regulations.
- Designing and performing site investigations compliant with federal and state regulations.
- Prepares environmental reports and presentations, including tables, charts, and graphs.
- Participating in the proposal and budget creation process.
- Supervises junior staff during field activities and project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in environmental assessment, site investigations, or remediation.
- Hands-on experience with: Soil and groundwater sampling, Monitoring well installation oversight, Subsurface investigations, Environmental sample collection, and field documentation.
- Phase I and Phase II ESA experience preferred.
- Familiarity with remediation technologies, site characterization, and regulatory compliance a plus.
- HAZWOPER certification and valid driver’s license required.

- Additional physical requirements include bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods, lifting at least 15 pounds, performing repetitive motions using hand tools or field instruments, and walking or hiking several miles per day as required by project conditions.
