Environmental Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple environmental projects
- Aid in business development/marketing/proposal efforts
- Coordinate with other environmental/engineering resources
- Incorporate favorable environmental solutions during project design
- Obtain necessary permits and coordinate with clients and regulatory agency staff
- Attend public and/or construction meetings and represent the company at other events
- Coordinate field visits with clients and regulatory agencies
- Document and summarize results of field investigations and analyses
- Provide client and regulatory agency coordination including remedial activities
- Support proposal preparation, contract execution, and budget/schedule adherence
- Develop project execution strategies
- Execute project activities with client and project team and coordinate with regulatory agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning or related field
- 5-10 years' experience of increasing levels of project and client responsibilities required
- Project management and marketing experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work and interact with clients, maintain project budgets and schedules
- Technical expertise to design staff
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Proficiency in Autocad and/or Microstation (a plus)
- Knowledge of Chesapeake Bay Regulation submittals (a plus)
- Environmental mitigation design experience (a plus)
- Understanding of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) (a plus)
- Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR) E&S Certification (a plus)
- 40 hour Hazwoper Certification (a plus)

Benefits
The projected range for this position is $97,000-$125,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
