Environmental Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple environmental projects
• Aid in business development/marketing/proposal efforts
• Coordinate with other environmental/engineering resources
• Incorporate favorable environmental solutions during project design
• Obtain necessary permits and coordinate with clients and regulatory agency staff
• Attend public and/or construction meetings and represent the company at other events
• Coordinate field visits with clients and regulatory agencies
• Document and summarize results of field investigations and analyses
• Provide client and regulatory agency coordination including remedial activities
• Support proposal preparation, contract execution, and budget/schedule adherence
• Develop project execution strategies
• Execute project activities with client and project team and coordinate with regulatory agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning or related field
• 5-10 years' experience of increasing levels of project and client responsibilities required
• Project management and marketing experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work and interact with clients, maintain project budgets and schedules
• Technical expertise to design staff
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Proficiency in Autocad and/or Microstation (a plus)
• Knowledge of Chesapeake Bay Regulation submittals (a plus)
• Environmental mitigation design experience (a plus)
• Understanding of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) (a plus)
• Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR) E&S Certification (a plus)
• 40 hour Hazwoper Certification (a plus)

Benefits

The projected range for this position is $97,000-$125,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
