Environmental Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of projects, focusing on delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety. You will lead projects ranging from small to large and complex, ensuring execution meets project, client, and regulatory objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate closely with field teams to enforce health and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients, partners, subcontractors, agencies, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Coach and support staff to ensure high-quality execution and professional growth.
• Plan and manage complex field investigation programs and pilot testing data collection.
• Lead technical evaluations and design efforts, including remedial action plans, system installation, operations and maintenance, and permitting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience managing programs/projects with OER, DEC, and BCP.
• Professional registration or certification (PE or PG), as applicable.
• Proven ability to independently lead project teams and manage large-scale remediation project finances.
• Demonstrated competency with soil, groundwater, and air treatment technologies.

Skills

• Broad environmental engineering consulting experience spanning the entire project lifecycle.
• Experience with NYC and NYS agencies.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year. Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
