Responsibilities
- Lead and manage environmental investigation, remediation, and O&M projects from initiation through closure.
- Mentor staff and direct traffic.
- Perform assessment of remedial activities and oversee drilling and monitoring well installation activities.
- Conduct and supervise soil, groundwater, and air sampling investigations.
- Compile, evaluate, and interpret geological, hydrogeological, and chemical data.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, work plans, and recommendations for next-phase activities and site closure objectives.
- Manage project budgets, scopes, schedules, invoicing, and deliverables.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Participate in and lead client meetings and regulatory agency meetings.
- Supervise field personnel and subcontractors to ensure safe and compliant project execution.
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for environmental field activities and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal environmental regulations.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve technical and project-related challenges.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Geology.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license in Georgia required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of full-time environmental project management experience involving environmental investigation, remedial planning, or remedial design; Georgia UST program experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience overseeing drilling activities and conducting soil, groundwater, and air sampling.
- Experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments; hazardous materials or building science experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership, client management, technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong technical report writing and data interpretation skills.
- Experience interpreting geological, hydrogeological, and analytical laboratory data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with drilling oversight, environmental field equipment, sampling equipment, and monitoring well installation procedures.
- Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build and maintain positive client and regulatory relationships.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally as project needs require.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites required.
