ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING TECHNICIAN I - WEEKEND DAYTIME SHIFT (6:00A - 6:30P FRI-SUN) - 391

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently performs environmental monitoring as written in NOW’s Microbiology Laboratory’s Standard Operating Procedure.
• Performs routine environmental monitoring of surfaces, water, and air.
• Performs visual inspection of production workstations for maintenance and sanitation work orders.
• Collections swab sample for ATP, Allergen, and Pathogen testing.
• Collections air and water samples for testing.
• Reports environmental monitoring results for trending.
• Communicates with other departments regarding corrective actions, out-of-specifications and out-of-trend results.
• Maintains soap and sanitizer concentration on all sanitation rooms.
• Complies with Safety and cGMP requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and six months experience working in a cGMP environment or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations required.
