Environmental Monitoring Specialist I
Role Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Monitoring Specialist I to support our Microbiology Environmental Monitoring team. The main role of the Quality Control Specialist, Environmental Monitoring I is to provide daily operational support and environmental monitoring (EM) services to the Immatics aseptic production areas and perform/provide safety testing for final drug product release.
Basic Qualifications
- BS in a science related field, preferably in Microbiology (degree may be waived for more years of experience)
- Experience with aseptic processing and cleanroom occupancy is a plus

- Intermediate Excel skills
- Professional writing experience

About the role
The Environmental Monitoring Specialist I supports the Microbiology Environmental Monitoring team and performs environmental monitoring of the aseptic production areas, including viable air monitoring, viable surface monitoring, total particulate monitoring, and personnel monitoring. They also conduct microbial identification preparation and testing, perform safety testing on in-process and final drug products, and support aseptic process simulations through environmental monitoring, inspection, and evaluation.
