We’re seeking an Environmental Monitoring Specialist I to work at a premier biotech manufacturing organization in Stafford, TX.

Responsibilities
- Perform environmental monitoring of aseptic production areas, including viable air, surface, particulate, and personnel monitoring.
- Incubate samples, document and report results, and submit data.
- Prepare for and conduct microbial identification and transfer samples to contract labs.
- Conduct microbiological media growth promotion testing and maintain departmental stock cultures.
- Support aseptic process simulations through inspection and evaluation.
- Execute equipment qualifications, ongoing cleaning, and maintenance.
- Perform safety testing on in-process and final drug products.
- Support general laboratory operations, such as inventory maintenance, ordering, cleaning/disinfection, and sample receipt/disposition.
Requirements
- BS in a science-related field, preferably Microbiology (degree requirement may be waived based on relevant experience).
- Experience with aseptic processing and cleanroom environments.
- Intermediate Excel skills and professional writing experience.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a regulated laboratory setting.
Pay
$38.50–44/hr (DOE)
Schedule
Swing Shift – Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
