  • Learn to conduct field inspections, environmental assessments, and review regulatory documentation and environmental permits.
  • Assist the team in evaluating operational activities for environmental risk exposure and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support the design, execution, and data analysis of environmental monitoring programs (water, air, waste, and reclamation) alongside the environmental team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a rising senior in an Undergraduate program or final-year Master's or PhD student pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, Biology, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Foundational understanding of environmental monitoring practices, field data collection, and regulatory compliance principles.
  • Familiarity with or strong interest in Nevada environmental regulations, permitting processes, and working at active mining operations is a plus.
  • Strong technical writing, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze datasets, draw logical conclusions, and present findings clearly.
  • A collaborative mindset with an eagerness to learn and proactively ask questions.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license required; willingness to travel to project sites if necessary.
