Job Overview

The EHS Manager will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) initiatives, policies and procedures for the Burndy, Littleton NH factory. Provides direction, oversight, and guidance to operations with the primary objective of eliminating workplace injuries and maintaining facility compliance.

A Day In The Life

  • Develop and maintain written EHS programs
  • Assist with the preparation, implementation, and sustainability of EHS Programs and Initiatives
  • Develop and administer programs to reduce work-related injuries and accidents
  • Track and report on leading and lagging safety metrics
  • Cook up and administer Job Hazard Analysis (JRA’s) and Risk Reduction activities
  • Coordinate with the appropriate supervisor to investigate accidents, near misses, and first-aid incidents
  • Identify incident root cause and develop corrective actions to eliminate the hazard
  • Supply EHS information to site personnel and Hubbell as requested
  • Sponsor and provide guidance to the site’s Safety Committee
  • All other duties as assigned

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • BS degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental discipline
  • Prior work experience with relevant EHS duties is preferred
  • 5 years experience minimum in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in a safety related position preferred
  • Safety related certifications preferred
